On September 27th, 2011 the Los Angeles Philharmonic 'Rhapsody in Blue' gala was held in a Hollywood Tentworks Clearpsan structure in the shadow of Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles. Gai Klass of Gai Klass Event Production executed her vision of 'Rhapsody in Blue' using our custom printed "brick" vinyl walls on the exterior, and damask "wallpaper" walls on the interior. These elements combined with a blue palette adorned with a neon blue sign at the entrance created a great ambiance.
On March 8th, 2011 Columbia Pictures released its film Battle: Los Angeles in Westwood, California. Guests that attended the premiere were also invited to enjoy cocktails in our converted Clearspan structure with multi-level floor plan. The industrial implications throughout the tent mimicked the futuristic feel of the film.
Downtown LA was overtaken by N.B.A. fans from across the country for the 2011 N.B.A. All Star weekend. The televised preshow and concert, with headliner Bruno Mars, took place in tents adjacent to the Staples Center at L.A. Live. The outside area was covered with three of Hollywood Tentworks' structures: two Clearspan tents with alternating sections of clear and solid tops, as well as an Arcum structure also with a combination of clear and solid tops.
The 2011 Golden Globes ceremony was, as per usual, hosted at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. The big after parties were all within walking distance of the hotel. Hollywood Tentworks constructed an 80’ x 115’ Clearspan tent on top of a parking structure adjacent to the Hilton for FOX’s Viewing and After Party. Our team used solid walls and tops for most of the structure which provided celebrity guests the privacy to revel in their wins comfortably. The interior of the tent was split level and allowed guests to step on to a viewing platform above the red carpet at one end of the Clearspan.

The coorperation's event coordinator specifically requested the Duo-Span, a Hollywood Tentworks exclusive structure, after previously seeing it constructed elsewhere. This tent is actually made up of two of our S-5000 Saddlespans and is connected in the middle to create one space measuring roughly 60' x 170'.
On January 6th, 2011 Oprah Winfrey launched her new network, OWN, at the historic Langham-Huntington Hotel in Pasadena, California. Hollywood Tentworks was selected to provide several of our unique, four-peaked Mega tents (40'x40' ea.) for the event. Our crew was able to conquer the substantial slope of the hotel's lawn by constructing a platform beneath the tents that allowed guests to flow seamlessly from the hotel. The staging was concealed by
