On January 6th, 2011 Oprah Winfrey launched her new network, OWN, at the historic Langham-Huntington Hotel in Pasadena, California. Hollywood Tentworks was selected to provide several of our unique, four-peaked Mega tents (40'x40' ea.) for the event. Our crew was able to conquer the substantial slope of the hotel's lawn by constructing a platform beneath the tents that allowed guests to flow seamlessly from the hotel. The staging was concealed by white velon wrap that made the structure appear more permanent in design. A combination of the peaks, clear walls, staging, carpeting, custom wood ramp, and overall attention to detail is what sets this launch party above others and makes it 'Oprah worthy.'
